I bought this dress to attend the Christening of my nephew. This dress is very beautiful yet simple. I'll be wearing it with a slip under to make sure that I feel a bit warmer, and will wear long boots to complete the look. RE: the sizes, the dresses is pretty true to the size. In the U.S. I'm about size 6 for top and 6-8 for the bottom. I bought M and it was the perfect choice. I highly recommend this dress.
